定義：

someone who has been a soldier,
sailor etc in a war
上過戰場的軍人與水手。

對特定活動經驗豐富的人。

指加入宗教的修士與修女，也可以說是和尚和尼姑。
另外，經常有人會用freshman 這個字代表新鮮人，但注意喔！
